When Autumn trees bare
I want for Winter
Of dark days and snow
I love thee, you know.
Within Winters chill
I dream of Spring
Of blossoms and dew
My longings anew.
During Spring rains
I wish for Summer
Of warmth and sun
Lazy days, having fun.
In Summers heat
I beg for Autumn
Of turning leaves and
air so crisp
It's where you kept me
with one last kiss.
When changes within
These seasons begin.
Not of time do I speak
But of the life that we lead
Of love and passion
Loss as a lesson.
So give yourself love
For all the above
Life has its reasons
For giving us seasons.
